* Mandatory for Travel to Mecca for Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage Japanese encephalitis vaccine is recommended for travellers to rural parts of Asia for stays of more than one month.Travel should be avoided within 10-14 days of primary course, in case a delayed allergic reaction occurs. Please note that specialist advice should be sought for those intending to live abroad or for those travelling to rural areas or between countries where vaccines such as Hepatitis B or Rabies may be required.
