These changes apply to prescriptions written by doctors or dentists but not other  EEA or Swiss healthcare professionals, for example nurses. Neither do they extend to any Controlled Drugs, including Schedule 5 CDs.

The changes do not apply to the prescribing of medicines which do not have a marketing authorisation in the UK. If there is a specific brand rather than a generic version of the drug we may not be able to supply if not available here in the UK.Generic names of medicines in Europe are sometimes different from British names, although generally speaking they are the same or similar, for example, the generic name “lisinopril” is the same in the UK, Spain, Germany and France.

If you are from one  of the above countries and have a prescription that satisfies the current legislation we will be happy to provide a free quote. Please click here and state the quantity and name of  the medicine.
